How do I transfer my warranty to a new homeowner?
Download and complete our Warranty Transfer Form, then submit it through our Warranty Claim page. You can also call us directly.
How do I file a warranty claim?
Submit your claim through our online warranty claim form. Include your property address and a description of the issue. We review all claims and respond within 24–48 hours.
Foundation Maintenance
How often should I water my foundation?
Let the soil tell you. When it starts to “shrink away” from the foundation, it’s time to water. The south and west sides of a structure will normally need more watering due to exposure to the afternoon sun. Fox Foundation provides a maintenance tip sheet with every job.
Can trees cause or contribute to foundation problems?
Yes. Any large tree or bush can cause foundation settlement. Some of the most problematic species include Weeping Willow, Cottonwood, Mulberry, Pecan, Maple, Ash, Bradford Pear, and Red Tipped Photinia. Root systems can extend as far as the plant is tall.
The Decision
Should I choose the lowest-priced foundation contractor?
Price alone should not be the decision maker for such a significant investment. Ask contractors about insurance, permits, warranties, and whether they provide detailed written reports with drawings.
"The answers to these questions should help you decide who you want to repair your very valuable property. Price alone should not be the decision maker for such an investment." — Fox Foundation Repair
